Proud Moments at SJS!

Congratulations to Luisa Bruno, Nicolás Unanue, and Wyatt Wunker, who have been named semifinalists in the 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program—one of the nation's highest honors for high school seniors.

They are among approximately 650 semifinalists selected from over 4,000 candidates across the U.S. and three of only seven students representing Puerto Rico this year.

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education and established by executive order in 1964, the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program annually honors up to 161 students for their academic excellence, leadership, and contributions to school and community from each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and from U.S. citizens living abroad. Final awardees will be announced this May.

At Saint John's School, we don't just prepare students for college—we prepare them to lead, achieve, and stand out on the national stage.
