BRAVO to Our Talented Students for Transporting Us to the Glamour of the Roaring Twenties!

This week, our Secondary Performing Arts production team brought The Great Gatsby to life with two back-to-back shows on Wednesday, followed by last night’s sold-out performance at The Great Gatsby Soirée—the first of our Patron of the Arts fundraising events.

With 31 students from 7th to 12th grade, including 9 seniors, leading on and off stage, the spectacular performances showcased their incredible talent, creativity, and leadership. Students in honors theater courses managed everything from choreography to costume design and stage production, highlighting the dynamic education fostered at our school.

We thank our Patrons of the Arts sponsors and supporters for contributing to this initiative to support our performing arts program. Last night’s event was just the start! Stay tuned for details about our next productions, Matilda Jr. in December and Mean Girls in April, as part of our ongoing fundraising efforts to enhance the performing arts at SJS.
