Carlos Juan Ortiz Awarded the "Medalla de la Juventud Puertorriqueña"

Congratulations to 12th grader, Carlos Juan Ortiz, who was awarded the Medalla de la Juventud Puertorriqueña en la categoría de Ayuda a Los Necesitados for his continuous work and commitment to fostering athletics in children with disabilities. The criteria for this distinction is “developing or participating in activities, past and present, with the desire to serve those who need it the most without receiving pecuniary rewards or being personally benefited.” Carlos Juan was also awarded the Medalla del Gobernador earlier in the year.

Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from Toddler to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
